The self-confessed assassin of Punjab governor Salmaan Taseer, Mumtaz Hussain Qadri was formally incdicted by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi on Monday.During the hearing, Malik Mumtaz Hussain Qadri confessed to killing Salman Taseer. After his confessional statement, the court accepted the charge-sheet against Qadri and charged him under Section 302.
The hearing of the case has been adjourned till February 26. The prosecutors were ordered to produce witnesses and evidence in next hearing.
