 Imran Farooq’s suspected killer held LONDON: In a major breakthrough Scotland Yard has arrested a 34-year old Pakistani national in Dr. Imran Farooq's murder case, Geo News reported Thursday.

The arrest was made after Scotland Yard conducted a raid on a house in central London, sources said. Scotland Yard is also looking for another man aged around 30, and about 5 ft 9 inch tall in the assassination case of Dr. Imran Farooq, a senior leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

The arrested man, who had also been detained in a robbery case in 2009, is being kept in North London Police Station.

Dr. Imran Farooq was brutally stabbed to death by unknown assailant(s) outside the former’s house central London on the evening of September 16, 2010.
