Jacqueline Fernandes replaces Mallika in Murder Sequel

Jacqueline Fernandes replaces Mallika in Murder SequelThe 2004 release from the Bhatt camp, Murder, had rocked the Bollywood box office collections, with innumerable votes for the Emraan Hashmi – Mallika Sherawat sizzling chemistry as the chief reason for the film being declared a hit.

News is that a sequel is being planned to the 2004 release, but unfortunately neither Mallika Sherawat nor Emraan Hashmi will be a part of Murder 2. So guess who has made her way into the second innings of Murder? It is none other than the Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandes.

Though the producers have clearly admitted in a statement to the media that the former Miss Sri Lanka Universe was not their initial choice for the role, several other actresses in Bollywood declined the offer which finally fell into the kitty of Jacqueline Fernandes. The male lead has however not been finalized yet.

Jacqueline has not yet been able to carve a niche for herself in Bollywood and is keeping her hopes pinned on this upcoming release from the
Bhatt camp.

The director of the sequel to Murder has also been changed. Replacing Anurag Basu for be Mohit Suri for Murder 2. If reports are anything to go by, Bipasha Basu was a strong contender for the lead actress of the sequel.

But things did not work out between the actress and director Mohit Suri. The upcoming film will be a test for Jacqueline Fernandes to showcase her sensual skills.
