Pakistani Scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan revealed that he was given a written statement by Musharraf to read on national television regarding nuclear proliferation. While talking exclusively to AAJ News Dr. Qadeer said that Chaudhry Shuja’at sent me to Musharraf. During the meeting Parvez Musharraf said that, “You are our hero, but at the moment you should cooperate with us.” After the
meeting, I was given a written statement to read on national television.
‘In the statement the entire responsibility of nuclear proliferation was imposed on me,’ he added.
He further said that Ex-President General (R) Parvez Musharraf’s role is in front of the whole nation. |
