Lady Gaga Hits ONE BILLION Views on YouTube

In a career that seems to be creating one new milestone after another, Lady Gaga has announced on Twitter that she has hit 1 billion total views on YouTube. She is the first musician to hit 1 billion views on YouTube. Justin Bieber is not far behind with 962,726,797 total video views.

Gaga Twittered:

“We reached 1 Billion views on youtube little monsters! If we stick together we can do anything. I dub u kings and queens of youtube! Unite!”

MTV notes that Gaga averaged about 1.8 million views per day in September, while Bieber averaged around 3.7 million views per day in the same month.

Both Gaga and Bieber are firmly ahead of the next closest artist, late pop superstar Michael Jackson, who has around 600 million YouTube views.

Gaga’s “Bad Romance” has racked up 297 million views, with “Just Dance” at 124 million views and “Alejandro” with 94 million. Bieber counters mightily with “Baby,” the most-watched video ever on YouTube with 366 million views. His “Never Let You Go” has 96 million and “Never Say Never” 97 million.
