 ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has written a letter to US Attorney General Eric Holder seeking honorable deportation of Dr Aafia Siddiqui, Geo News reported Saturday.
Last Monday, Pakistani envoy to US Hussain Haqqani called upon US Attorney General and asked him to withdraw cases against Pakistani citizen Dr Aafia Siddiqui.
The letter said the people of Pakistan were very disturbed about the detention of Dr Aafia Siddiqui and asked for her deportation according to UN Convention for Exchange of Prisoners. |
