MUZAFFARGARH: Muzaffargarh-Mianwali Road has been closed down for every kind of traffic in view of imminent flooding, Geo News reported Friday.

The stranded flood-affected people are waiting for the government succor in Dera Ghazi Khan and Taunsa. Meantime, thousands of people marooned in Shah Jamal for the third consecutive
day today could not be rescued as yet.

The flood high tide that ravaged Muzaffargarh, approached DC Bridge of Masande Wali.

The affectees living at the relief camps, lined up in rows to take their meals for Sehri; however, people in large number could not have it owing to massive rush and had to fast without any ‘Sehri’.

Rajanpur’s most devastated areas of Jampur and Kot Mithan are still water-logged.

Administration set up relief camps in areas affected by massive flooding in Dera Ghazi Khan and Taunsa Sharif. The arrangements of Sehri and Iftar have been made on these camps.

The ground links of Dera Ghazi Khan with Punjab and Khyber Pakhtoonkhaw are still cut off on fifth day today, after Indus Highway and Multan Road were washed away. Acute shortage of food and fuel has emerged in the area.
