August 16, 2010, (Sawf News) – Deepika Padukone looked an Apsara that
had stepped straight out of a sexual fantasy on Day 1 of the India International Jewelry Week (IIJW) in Mumbai on Sunday, August 15.
She wore a nude colored Ana Singh sari and Farah Ali Khan’s ethnic jewelry at the event at Hotel Grand Hyatt in Kalina, with a blouse that covered a lot less than bra’s that our mothers wore.
The sari had heavy bead and sequin embroidery on its scalloped border. She wore it low on the hips and draped the pullav such that her slim and long torso was fully exposed.

Deepika, 24, displayed statement jewelry from Farah’s Adaayein range: Five tier jadau pearl and ruby gold necklace with matching three drop earrings, an exquisite bib necklace, a chunky jadau kada, a matching cocktail ring in her right hand index finger, and a tikka on her forehead.
She styled her hair in a low bun with a back-combed top and middle parting.
Her makeup was the perfect icing on a look reminiscent of delicacy to be devoured:
Thick kohl eyeliner shaped her eyes to look like those of a classical dancer. She wore cherry lipstick, golden eyeshadow, red blush, and a sparkling bindi. Her nails were painted black.

Farah was very happy with the thunderous applaud from the packed house as Deepika strutted her stuff.

Those attending the show included Deepika’s rumored boyfriend Siddharth Mallya, who gave a loud shout out to the star. The two were seen together backstage and also left the venue together after the event.
